Yakima Municipal Court is operating with limited services and only essential court functions are available at this time due to the shutdown today, Monday, of the statewide Judicial Information System (JIS) database.

The state’s Administrative Office of the Courts oversees JIS and shut down the system today due to a security concern.

Those with scheduled court hearings should plan to attend unless otherwise notified.

Updates will be available on the Yakima Municipal Court’s website – Municipal Court (yakimawa.gov) – and shared on the City of Yakima’s communication platforms.
