Yakima Transit will again cancel its free shuttle to State Fair Park for the July 4^th celebration. The shuttle was first discontinued for last year’s July 4^th celebration due to low participation.

The combination of low participation and an overall increase in transit costs led Yakima Transit to extend the shuttle cancellation to this year’s event as well. The shuttle is discontinued until further notice.

The 4^th of July Celebration at State Fair Park starts at noon on Friday, July 4^th, and the celebration concludes at 10:00 pm with a firework display.
