Yakima Transit is discontinuing its free shuttle to State Fair Park for the July 4th celebration.
“We are canceling the shuttle due to low participation and an overall increase in costs for transit,” said Yakima Transit Manager Alvie Maxey. “While we have appreciated the opportunity to provide free July 4th shuttles in the past, this shuttle is discontinued until further notice.”
The 4th of July Celebration at State Fair Park is noon to 10:30 pm next Thursday.
