On Jan. 2nd, 2024, four Yakima City Council members took the oath of office to mark the start of their new terms. The three council members pictured from left; Reedy Berg, Rick Glenn and Leo Roy; are all beginning their first term in office. At right is Patricia Byers, who was re-elected to her second term on the Yakima City Council. Byers was appointed to be Yakima’s mayor during the Jan. 2nd Council meeting.
