Closures, Celebration Planned for 2025 Juneteenth Observance

City of Yakima offices and most non-emergency services will close Thursday, June 19th, in observance of the Juneteenth holiday. Yakima Transit Cancels July 4th Shuttle

Yakima Transit will again cancel its free shuttle to State Fair Park for the July 4th celebration. The shuttle was first discontinued for last year’s July 4th celebration due to low participation. Work to Require Lane Closures at First Street and Yakima Avenue

Traffic will be reduced to a single lane each way Tuesday morning, June 10th, at the intersection of First Street and Yakima Avenue.
