Improvements to the drinking water, irrigation water, and stormwater systems, as well as sidewalk upgrades, will impact traffic next week on 32nd Avenue and Nob Hill Boulevard.
As a result of the project, parts of 32nd Avenue both north and south of Nob Hill will be closed to thorough traffic from August 24th to August 28th. Local traffic will still be allowed on 32nd. A detour route around the 32nd Avenue closures will be available.
Additionally, lane restrictions will be in place on Nob Hill between 28th Avenue and 40th Avenue from August 24th to August 28th. At least one lane of traffic in each direction on Nob Hill through the project area will be open while the work is underway.
Drivers should expect localized traffic and parking impacts in the area and are encouraged to slow down and proceed cautiously through work zones.
Access to homes and businesses in the project area will be maintained as best as possible and emergency vehicles will be allowed through the project area if necessary.
As always, the schedule for this type of project is subject to change daily dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.
