Nob Hill and Fair Avenue Project Continuing to Impact Traffic

Sidewalk work near the Nob Hill Boulevard and Fair Avenue intersection is expected to continue to impact traffic in the area for the next few weeks.

Beginning on August 24th and continuing into early September, intermittent single-lane closures through and around the project area will occur between 7:00 am and 5:30 pm while sidewalk and fencing work is underway.

The project involves improving the overall intersection at Nob Hill and Fair.  The roughly

$3 million project is being paid for with federal funds and local utility and Transportation Benefit District moneys.

Drivers should use alternate routes if possible until the work is completed.

Drivers are encouraged to slow down and proceed cautiously through work zones.

Access to homes and businesses in the project area will be maintained as best as possible and emergency vehicles will be allowed through the project area if necessary.

As always, the schedule for this type of project is subject to change daily dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.
