Narrative:

On 1-21-14 at approximately 1015 hrs a juvenile male entered the Nob Hill Fuel Station Mart and approached the employee.  The suspect displayed a knife, jumped over the counter, grabbed the employee and demanded money.  The employee fled the mart through a side door and the suspect followed. The suspect then fled the area.  No money was taken in this incident

Yakima Police Officers observed the suspect a few blocks away and gave chase on foot.  The suspect jumped a fence and was soon apprehended by YPD Officers in  a backyard located in the 1100 Blk of S. 20^th Ave. There were no injuries to the officers or the suspect during the arrest.  The suspect was booked into the Yakima Juvenile Detention Facility. An investigation on this incident in continuing.
