North 6th Street will be closed on Monday, April 29th between D Street and E Street.
The closure is required for a tree removal project during scheduled work hours of 6:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Access to homes and businesses in the project area will be maintained as best as possible. A detour will be in place to assist drivers to navigate around the project area.
Drivers are reminded the speed limit through all traffic-related work zones within the City of Yakima is 20 miles-per-hour.
As always, the schedule for this type of a project is subject to change daily dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.
