Rebuilding and Extending Coolidge Road Will Interrupt Traffic

The rebuilding of existing sections of Coolidge Road and construction of a new section of the road will result in the closure of a portion of the street to through traffic from Monday, June 2nd through the end of July.

While the project is underway, Coolidge Road between 88th Avenue and 96th Avenue will be closed. Residents in the area will still have access to their homes from the east at 88th Avenue and from the west at 96th Avenue.

The project includes the rebuilding of existing sections of Coolidge as well as construction of a new section of the street that will result in Coolidge being connected from 88th Avenue to 96th Avenue. Additionally, new sewer and water lines, storm drains, sidewalks, and street lights will be installed.

During the project, traffic delays in the area are likely to occur. Drivers should use alternate routes if possible until the project is completed.

As always, the schedule for this type of project is subject to change daily, dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.
