A two-day repaving project on 74th Avenue will result in the closure of the road between Lincoln Avenue and Summitview Avenue for most of each day on Wednesday, October 8th and Thursday, October 9th.
That section of 74th Avenue will be closed from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm while the project is underway. Detour routes will available to allow drivers to avoid the project area.
The project will also result in lane restrictions on Summitview on both October 8th and October 9th. One eastbound lane and one westbound lane of Summitview will be open to traffic between 72nd Avenue and 75th Avenue during the project hours.
During the project, traffic delays in the area are likely to occur. Drivers should use alternate routes if possible until the project is completed.
Access to homes and businesses in the project area will be impacted, but will be maintained when possible. Emergency vehicles will be allowed through the project area if necessary.
As always, the schedule for this type of a project is subject to change daily dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.
