Road Repairs on Nob Hill to Impact Traffic Overnight

A project to repair damage to a section of Nob Hill Boulevard caused by a water main break earlier this year will impact traffic in and near the project area overnight on Thursday, June 16th and Friday, June 17th.

An 85-foot section of the eastbound lanes of Nob Hill between Rock Avenue and Ledwich Avenue will be removed and replaced.  Work on the project will begin at 9:00 pm on June 16th and conclude by 7:00 am on June 17th.  The project is being done overnight in order to lessen its impact on traffic.

While the project is underway, eastbound traffic will be rerouted to a turn lane that runs the length of the project area.  The sidewalk on the south side of Nob Hill from Rock Avenue east for about a block will be closed during the project work hours.

During the project, traffic delays in the area are likely to occur.  Drivers should use alternate routes until the project is completed.

Access to homes and businesses in the project area will be maintained as best as possible.  Emergency vehicles will be allowed through the project area if necessary.

As always, the schedule for this type of a project is subject to change daily dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.
