Traffic on North 1^st Street in the area of G Street will be impacted for most of each day on November 1^st and November 2^nd while Columbia Basin Railroad crews make repairs to train tracks that cross North 1^st Street.

Work on the project will begin at 7:00 am on Thursday, November 1^st and Friday, November 2^nd and end at about 3:30 pm both days.  While the project is underway, both northbound and southbound traffic on North 1^st Street in the area of G Street will be restricted to one lane.

Drivers are reminded that the speed limit through all traffic-related works zones within the City of Yakima is 20 miles-per-hour.

During the project, traffic delays in the area are likely to occur.  Drivers should use alternate routes until the project is completed.

Access to businesses in the project area will be maintained as best as possible.  Emergency vehicles will be allowed through the project area as necessary.

As always, the schedule for this type of a project is subject to change daily dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.
