A tree removal project on 62^nd Avenue will impact traffic along several blocks of the street for most of each day from Monday, June 13^th through Friday, June 17^th.

Crews will be removing a large tree located in public right-of-way on 62^nd Avenue from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm each day from June 13^th through June 17^th.  In order to ensure the highest degree of safety for both crews and the public, 62^nd Avenue between Walnut Avenue and Tieton Drive will be closed during project work hours (6:00 am to 4:00 pm).  No traffic will be allowed through that portion of 62^nd Avenue during project work hours, so drivers will be directed to detours around the project area.

During the project, traffic delays in the area are likely to occur.  Drivers should use alternate routes if possible until the project is completed.

Access to homes and businesses in the area will be maintained if possible and traffic will be allowed through the project area if absolutely necessary.

As always, the schedule for this type of a project is subject to change daily dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.
