City of Yakima crews will be removing trees along a section of 40^th Avenue on Tuesday, July 10^th, which will impact traffic in the area.

The project will begin at 6:00 am and be completed by about 3:00 pm.  While the project is underway, traffic on 40^th Avenue between Richey Road and Englewood Avenue will be reduced to one lane in each direction.

Access will be maintained to properties in the project area as best as possible.

Drivers are encouraged to slow down in work zones, look out for workers and follow the posted speed limit.

As always, the schedule for this type of a project is subject to change daily dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.
