A tree removal project will impact traffic on a portion of Naches Avenue and a portion of Yakima Avenue during the day from Monday, December 17th through Thursday, December 20th.
As a result of the project, Naches Avenue will be closed between Yakima Avenue and Chestnut Avenue from7:00 am to 3:00 pm from December 17th through December 20th. Eastbound traffic through the Naches Avenue and Yakima Avenue intersection will be restricted to one lane while the project is underway. Flaggers will be on site to help drivers navigate through the project area.
Drivers are reminded that the speed limit through all traffic-related works zones within the City of Yakima is 20 miles-per-hour.
During the project, traffic delays in the area are likely to occur. Drivers should use alternate routes until the project is completed.
Access to homes and businesses in the project area will be maintained as best as possible.
