A closure of 72nd Avenue and Washington Avenue for roundabout work is extended through Sunday evening, April 12th.
Work began on Monday, April 6th. The intersection was originally scheduled to re-open Friday, April 10th.
Detours are provided. Access is maintained to properties in the area.
Upgrades for the new roundabout were completed in September 2025. Concrete that was used in the island portion of the roundabout needs to be replaced. The cost of replacing the concrete will be borne by the project contractor.
As always, the schedule for this type of project is subject to change daily dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.
