Water service installation will disrupt traffic in the northbound and southbound lanes of a portion of South 16th Avenue from Tuesday, November 28th through Thursday, November 30th. Work on the project will take place from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm each day.
Traffic in both the northbound and southbound lanes of South 16th Avenue between Mead Avenue and Plath Avenue will be restricted while the project is underway. Traffic will channeled through the construction zone.
Due to heavy traffic volume, drivers can expect delays in the project area. Drivers should use alternate routes if possible until the work is completed.
Access to homes and businesses in the project area will be maintained as best as possible and emergency vehicles will be allowed through the project area.
As always, the schedule for this type of project is subject to change daily dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.
