Yakima Airport Receives FAA Grant

Among the grant recipients is Yakima Air Terminal-McAllister Field. The local airport will receive $220,000 to extend taxi lane C an additional 1,000 feet to allow a higher service volume of aircraft. This grant funds the design phase.

The FAA announcement states that grants totaling over $600 million will go to 441 airports located in big cities, small towns, and everywhere in between across 46 states, American Samoa, and the Northern Mariana Islands.
