Stormwater Project to Result in Traffic Impacts on South 7th Avenue
A stormwater system improvement project will result in traffic impacts on portions of 7th Avenue and West Peach Street beginning September 15th. Work will include installation of stormwater improvements, curb replacement, and roadway paving. The work is expected to be completed by September 25th. Infrastructure Project to Impact Traffic
Improvements to a water main and roadway surfaces are continuing to impact traffic in the area near 32nd Avenue, 33rd Avenue, and Nob Hill Boulevard. City of Yakima Announces Labor Day 2026 Closures
Most of the City of Yakima’s services and facilities will be closed for the Labor Day holiday on Monday, September7th. That includes City Hall, Public Works, Y-PAC, and Parks and Recreation offices. Business offices for the Police and Fire Departments will be closed. Yakima Municipal Court will also be closed. Emergency services will remain available.
