Work to improve the intersection of River Road and 16^th Avenue will impact traffic on both streets next week.

The project will begin on September 28^th and is expected to be completed by October 1^st.

Crews will be working on the project from 5:30 am to 4:00 pm each day.  Traffic on 16^th Avenue in the project area will be reduced to one lane in each direction.  No access to westbound River Road will be available to drivers from 16^th Avenue while the work is underway.  Access to eastbound River Road will also be limited.  Detour routes will be available.

Drivers should use alternate routes until the work is completed.

Access will be maintained to adjacent properties within the project area as best as possible.

Drivers are encouraged to slow down and proceed cautiously through work zones.

As always, the schedule for this type of project is subject to change daily dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.
