The Yakima City Council will hold a regular meeting beginning at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, May 2nd, 2025.

Some of the agenda items for the May 6th regular meeting include:

  • Introduction of new finance and budget director, Craig Warner
  • Two public hearings regarding text amendments to the Yakima Urban Area Zoning Ordinance
  • A final report from the Citizen Budget Advisory Committee
  • Presentation of the final results of a budget survey
  • A discussion regarding options for a public safety levy
