Yakima Parks and Recreation Hosts Drive-Thru Letters to Santa 2025

Yakima Parks and Recreation is offering its 6th annual drive-thru Letters to Santa event at the City’s Public Works facility, 2301 Fruitvale Boulevard, on Saturday, December 13th, from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm.  The free event features music, Yakima Christmas Trucks and a special mailbox for letters to Santa. Yakima Transit Offers Free Shuttle to 2025 Luminaria

Yakima Transit will again provide free shuttle bus service to the Yakima Area Arboretum Luminaria Candle-Lit Walk event on Friday, December 12th and Saturday, December 13th.  Shuttles will run 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm both nights. 2025 Holiday Lighted Parade is Dec. 7th

The holiday season in Yakima again kicks off this year with the 26th annual Holiday Lighted Parade at 6:00 pm on Sunday, December 7th. The procession begins at 6th Avenue and continues down Yakima Avenue to 3rd Street, ending on 3rd Street in front of the Capitol Theatre.  No on-street parking will be allowed along
