Water Service Installation to Restrict Traffic on Mead Avenue

Water service work will result in traffic restrictions on Mead Avenue between Voelker Avenue and 1st Street from tomorrow, Thursday, March 12th,through Friday March, 20th. Work on the project will begin at 7:00 am and last until 3:30 pm each weekday. Traffic will be limited to one lane in both directions in the project area.

A change is in the works for business license applications and renewals. St. Patrick’s Day Iron Chef & Dance is March 13th

Entries are being accepted for the third annual St. Patrick’s Day Iron Chef competition at the City of Yakima’s Harman Center.
