The Yakima Health District was informed on the evening of March 11, 2020 that test results from the Washington State Department of Health Public Health Lab determined that there are two confirmed cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in Yakima County. These two patients are currently isolated.
Water service work will result in traffic restrictions on Mead Avenue between Voelker Avenue and 1st Street from tomorrow, Thursday, March 12th,through Friday March, 20th. Work on the project will begin at 7:00 am and last until 3:30 pm each weekday. Traffic will be limited to one lane in both directions in the project area.
