Lane Closures Planned on I Street

The west half of I Street will be closed from 1St Street west to the alley for about three months starting Monday, Nov. 18th, for work on Phase 3 of the North 1st Street Revitalization Project. City Plans Closures for Veterans Day 2024 Observance

Many of the City of Yakima’s facilities will be closed Monday, November 11th, in observance of Veterans Day. That includes City Hall, Y-PAC, and Parks and Recreation offices. Yakima Parade to Honor Veterans

The Yakima community will honor its veterans and all U.S. military veterans by staging the 2024 Veterans Day Parade in Downtown Yakima on Monday, November 11th. The parade is sponsored by the Veterans of Foreign Wars – Post 379. The parade will begin at 10:45 am at the intersection of Yakima Avenue and 6th Street.
