Effective today, Monday, North 4th Street between Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Lincoln Avenue is permanently closed to through traffic. The Yakima City Council on June 18th approved a request submitted on behalf of the Catholic Bishop of Yakima to vacate North 4th Street between Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. and E. Lincoln Avenue.

North 16th Avenue will be one lane southbound on Friday, Nov. 1st, between Garfield Avenue and Roosevelt Avenue. The lane closure will be in effect from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm on Friday.
