A stormwater system improvement project will result in the temporary closure of Chestnut Avenue from 19th Avenue to 22nd Avenue beginning Wednesday, August 26th.

Work will include stormwater system repairs, roadway paving, and curb and gutter repair and replacement. Chestnut is scheduled to remain closed to through traffic through Friday, September 4th.

Access will be maintained to adjacent properties within the project area as best as possible.

Drivers should use alternate routes until the work is completed.

Drivers are encouraged to slow down and proceed cautiously through work zones.

As always, the schedule for this type of project is subject to change daily dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.
