Community Clean Ups Proving Successful

The first three community clean up events that the City of Yakima’s Refuse Division has coordinated this year have been big successes.  In total, the March 9th, March 30th, and April 13th clean ups have yielded almost 33 tons (66,000 pounds) of trash.
