A section of Yakima Avenue will be closed Saturday evening, July 2nd, for the Downtown Yakima Mile event. City of Yakima Closures for July 4th Holiday

Many of the City of Yakima’s facilities will be closed next Monday, July 4th, in observance of Independence Day. That includes City Hall, Y-PAC, Public Works, the Harman Center, Law and Justice Center and Parks and Recreation offices. Business offices for the Police and Fire Departments will be closed. Lions Pool Closed Due to Pump Issue

Lions Pool, the City of Yakima’s indoor aquatics facility, is closed temporarily due to a mechanical issue with the pool’s main pump. Repairs will be completed as quickly as possible. It is estimated the pool could be closed for a week, though, it is not known exactly how long it will take to complete repairs.


Chip Sealing Project to Impact Traffic
