Many of the City of Yakima’s facilities will be closed next Monday, September 6th, in observance of Labor Day.
That includes City Hall, Y-PAC, Public Works and Parks and Recreation offices.
Business offices for the Police and Fire Departments will be closed. Emergency services will remain available.
Yakima Transit will not provide bus service Monday.
The City’s Harman Center will be closed Saturday, September 4th, and Monday in observance of the Labor Day holiday.
There will be no City of Yakima garbage pick-up service on Monday, September 6th. Garbage collection service schedules by the City’s Refuse Division will be delayed by one day next week. Those with service scheduled for Friday, September 10th, will instead have their garbage picked up on Saturday, September 11th.
Lions Pool will be open Labor Day.
All City of Yakima facilities and services will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, September 7th.
