The City of Yakima is accepting applications for its 2027 Tourism Promotion Grant program from now through July 1st.
The program is funded by hotel/motel lodging tax revenues and supports eligible projects that promote or develop tourism in Yakima. Funding is limited to qualified non-profit organizations and public agencies and must comply with Washington State lodging tax requirements.
Applications will be reviewed by City staff and evaluated by the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee, which will make funding recommendations to the Yakima City Council.
Selected projects will require a contract with the City and final reporting after completion.
Applications are due July 1st, 2026.
