City of Yakima offices will be closed Monday, December 26^th and Monday, January, 2^nd, in observance of the Christmas and New Year’s Day holidays.

Business offices for the Police and Fire Departments will be closed. Emergency services will remain available.

The City of Yakima’s Municipal Court will be closed December 26^th and January 2^nd.

Yakima Transit will not provide bus service on Christmas Day or New Year’s Day. Regular transit service will resume on December 26^th and January 2^nd.

City of Yakima garbage pick-up service on both December 26^th and January 2^nd will continue as scheduled. There will be no delays in service. The City of Yakima Refuse Division office will be closed on those days.

Lions Pool closes at 1:00 pm on December 24^th and December 31^st. The pool will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. Lions Pool will resume its regular hours on December 26^th and January 2^nd.

The City’s Harman Center will be closed December 24^th-26^th and December 31^st-January 2^nd.

In addition, City of Yakima utility, sewer and refuse customers can use a bill payment kiosk 24/7 outside City Hall.
