Many of the City of Yakima’s facilities will be closed next Monday, July 5^th, in observance of Independence Day on Sunday, July 4^th.

That includes City Hall, Y-PAC, Public Works, the Harman Center, and Parks and Recreation offices.

Business offices for the Police and Fire Departments will be closed. Emergency services will remain available.

Yakima Transit will not provide bus service next Monday. Bus service will be available on July 4^th, including free shuttles to and from 4^th of July festivities at State Fair Park.

The City of Yakima’s Harman Center will be closed this Saturday, July 3^rd, and next Monday in observance of the July 4^th holiday. The Washington Fruit Community Center will be closed Monday.

There will be regularly scheduled City of Yakima garbage pick-up service on Monday. To ensure proper service, residents are asked to have their carts set out by 6:00 am.
