A section of 20th Avenue will be closed beginning Monday, July 12th, for an emergency sewer pipe replacement project.
The project will require closing 20th Avenue between Nob Hill Boulevard and West Prasch Avenue. The closure is expected to last through next week and possibly over next weekend.
Access to homes and businesses in the project area will be maintained as best as possible and emergency vehicles will be allowed through the project area if necessary.
The project may cause interruptions in scheduled refuse collection. Customers may contact the City of Yakima Refuse Division at 575-6005 with any questions or concerns.
As always, the schedule for this type of project is subject to change daily dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.
