The golfing season is rapidly coming to a close at the City of Yakima’s Fisher Park Golf Course.
“The last day the course will be open for play will be Monday, October 30th,” said Recreation Supervisor Tami Andringa.
The course is located at 823 South 40th Avenue, across from Eisenhower High School.
The typical hours of operation are 8:00 am to dusk, but that is subject to change, said Andringa. “As the mornings get colder, the frost may stay on the greens longer which means opening times may vary depending on the weather,” she said.
Golfers can get in their final rounds at a discount before the season closes. Thanks to a late-season special throughout the month of October, greens fees for adults at Fisher Park Golf Course are $7.00 for nine holes instead of the usual $9.25.
Other discounts still available include a Family Day after 3:00 pm this Sunday, October 29th, and Senior Day on Monday, October 30th, the final day Fisher Park Golf Course will be open for play this season. Those greens fees are $5 per adult for nine holes.
