Franklin Pool will be open the first four Saturdays in August, offering swimmers more opportunities to enjoy the pool. Franklin Pool will be open from 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm on August 1st, August 8th, August 15th, and August 22nd.
Since opening for the 2026 season in mid-June after repairs were made to fix leaks in the pool, Franklin has been open Monday through Friday from 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm but not on weekends.
Franklin Pool’s 2026 season will end on August 23rd after its annual Paws in the Pool event, which will take place that day from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
The cost for entry to Franklin Pool is $4.00 for kids aged 4 to 17, $5.00 for adults, $23.00 for a family of six (two adults and two of their own children), $30.00 for a family of eight (two adults and six of their own children), and $4.00 for honored citizens (check City website for honored citizen definition).
The City of Yakima’s two other public pools, Lions Pool and the Aquatic Center and MLK, Jr. Park, are also open and operating normal hours.
