Gov. Jay Inslee will visit Yakima tomorrow, Saturday, to formally sign House Bill No. 1939 recognizing March 31^st as Cesar Chavez Day in the state of Washington.

Inslee will sign the bill at 9:00 am on Saturday, March 31^st at United Food and Commercial Worker Union, Local 1439, 507 South 3^rd Street.

The Yakima City Council previously proclaimed March 31^st as Cesar Chavez Day in the City of Yakima. The Council took that action during its regular business meeting on Tuesday, March 20^th.
