Many of the City of Yakima’s facilities will be closed Thursday, November 11th, in observance of the Veterans Day holiday. That includes City Hall, Y-PAC, and Parks and Recreation offices.
Business offices for the Police and Fire Departments will be closed. Emergency services will remain available.
In addition, the City’s Harman Center will be closed on Thursday, November 11th in observance of Veterans Day and Yakima Transit will not provide bus service on November 11th.
The City’s Refuse Division will provide regular garbage collection services as scheduled on Thursday. There will be no delay of garbage or yard waste collection services on Thursday, November 11th. However, the Refuse Division’s office will be closed Thursday.
City facilities will resume regular business hours on Friday, November 12th.
