The Yakima City Council held its most recent regular agenda business meeting on Tuesday, July 2^nd.  Action taken by the Council on July 2^nd included:

–   Setting an August 20^th public hearing date on renaming “A” Street to Sgt. Pendleton Blvd

–   Approval of a 5-year jail services agreement with Yakima County

–   Approval of an easement modification for proposed commercial development at the corner of 1^st Street and Yakima Avenue

–   Review of the 2013 State Legislative session
