Due to work on installing new traffic signals at the Nob Hill Boulevard and Fair Avenue intersection, traffic overnight will be impacted in the area for a few days next week.
From August 3rd through August 7th, the intersection will be closed from 7:00 pm to 6:00 am. Detour routes around the intersection will be available.
The intersection will be open during daytime hours.
The project involves improving the overall intersection at Nob Hill and Fair. The roughly
$3 million project is being paid for with federal funds and local utility and Transportation Benefit District moneys.
Drivers should use alternate routes if possible until the work is completed.
Drivers are encouraged to slow down and proceed cautiously through work zones.
Access to homes and businesses in the project area will be maintained as best as possible and emergency vehicles will be allowed through the project area if necessary.
As always, the schedule for this type of project is subject to change daily dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.
