Due to work on raising overhead utility lines near the Nob Hill Boulevard and Fair Avenue intersection, traffic overnight will be impacted in the area for a few days next week.
From June 29th through July 1st, single-lane closures will be in effect around the project area from 9:00 pm to 6:00 am. Traffic signals will also be switched to flashing red during work hours.
The project involves improving the overall intersection at Nob Hill and Fair. It is being paid for with federal funds and the City’s water mainline replacement fund.
Drivers should use alternate routes if possible until the work is completed.
Drivers are encouraged to slow down and proceed cautiously through work zones.
Access to homes and businesses in the project area will be maintained as best as possible and emergency vehicles will be allowed through the project area if necessary.
As always, the schedule for this type of project is subject to change daily dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.
