Yakima City Manager Cliff Moore has announced he has appointed current Yakima Deputy Fire Chief Aaron Markham to serve as Yakima’s next fire chief. With a jobless rate of just 5.5 percent for the month of April, the city of Yakima’s unemployment numbers continue at all-time record lows.
