Paws in the Pool at Franklin Pool on Sunday, Aug. 25th

Swimmers both human and canine are invited to the 13th annual Paws in the Pool event from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Sunday, August 25th at the City of Yakima’s Franklin Pool, 2101 Tieton Drive.

Yakima Parks and Recreation, in coordination with the Yakima Humane Society, organizes the event for dogs and their owners each year. Dogs swim for free but their owners pay the general admission fee.

Pet owners must make sure their dogs are current on all shots and vaccinations. They are also responsible for cleaning up any messes their dogs make. No vicious or aggressive dogs are permitted. Dogs must be leashed until inside the pool area.

During Paws in the Pool, donations will be accepted for the Yakima Humane Society.
