A section of Prasch Avenue will continue to be closed into early next week for sewer repair work.
Prasch Avenue is closed between 21st Avenue and 19th Avenue through next Tuesday, June 20th. Access to homes and businesses in the project area will be maintained as best as possible.
The schedule for this type of project is subject to change daily dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.
This project began last Wednesday, June 7th, and was originally scheduled to conclude Friday, June 16th.
Drivers are reminded the speed limit through all traffic-related work zones within the City of Yakima is 20 miles-per-hour.
During the project, traffic delays in the area are likely to occur. Drivers should use alternate routes until project completion.
