Project to Impact Traffic at 24th and Racquet Lane

A project will impact traffic in the area of 24th Avenue and Racquet Lane next Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 25th and 26th.

Traffic will be one lane each direction on 24th Avenue at Racquet Lane as crews will be tearing out and replacing the approach during project work hours of 6:00 am to 4:00 pm both days. In addition, Racquet Lane will be accessible southbound only. Traffic approaching 24th Avenue from Racquet Lane will be right turn only.

Flaggers will be on site to assist drivers through the project area.

The schedule for this type of project is subject to change daily dependent on weather, equipment failure and emergencies.

Drivers are reminded the speed limit through all traffic-related work zones within the City of Yakima is 20 miles-per-hour.

During the project, traffic delays in the area are likely to occur. Drivers should use alternate routes until project completion.
