Chestnut Avenue will be closed between Fourth Street and Naches Avenue on Monday, April 22nd, from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm.
The closure is required for a tree removal and tree trimming project.
Access to properties in the project area will be maintained as best as possible.
Drivers are encouraged to avoid the project area, if possible.
Drivers are reminded the speed limit through all traffic-related work zones within the City of Yakima is 20 miles-per-hour.
As always, the schedule for this type of a project is subject to change daily dependent on weather, equipment failure and emergencies.
