Repair to Manhole to Impact Traffic on Nob Hill

A project to repair a manhole will result in traffic restrictions on a portion of Nob Hill Boulevard for most of the day on Thursday, August 10th.

As a result of the project, westbound traffic along the section of Nob Hill between 26th Avenue and 27th Avenue will be restricted to one lane from 5:30 am to 3:30 pm on August 10th.  Flaggers will also be on site to help drivers navigate through the work area.

Drivers are reminded that the speed limit through all traffic-related works zones within the City of Yakima is 20 miles-per-hour.

During the project, traffic delays in the area are likely to occur.  Drivers should use alternate routes until the project is completed.

Access to homes and businesses in the project area will be maintained as best as possible.

As always, the schedule for this type of a project is subject to change daily dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.

For additional information about this project, contact Wastewater Collections Supervisor Bob Brown at 406-7103.
