The southbound lane of 72nd Avenue will be closed to traffic between Crown Crest Avenue and Coolidge Road from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm tomorrow, Friday, Feb. 2nd.
A detour will be in effect for southbound drivers during the project work hours.
The temporary lane closure is required for asphalt repair.
Drivers are reminded the speed limit through all traffic-related work zones within the City of Yakima is 20 miles-per-hour.
Access to homes and businesses in the project area will be maintained as best as possible.
As always, the schedule for this type of a project is subject to change daily dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.
