A road improvement project will impact traffic along several blocks of 32nd Avenue from Monday, August 1st through Thursday, August 4th.
The project will take place on 32nd Avenue between Tieton Drive and Arlington Street and will involve removing old and deteriorated asphalt and repaving that section of the street.
Work on the project will take place between 6:00 am and 3:30 pm each day from August 1st through August 4th. While the project is underway, the section of 32nd Avenue between Tieton Drive and Arlington Street will be closed to traffic. Detour routes around the project area will be available and will be marked with appropriate signage.
Drivers are reminded that the speed limit through all traffic-related works zones within the City of Yakima is 20 miles-per-hour.
During the project, traffic delays in the area are likely to occur. Drivers should use alternate routes until the project is completed.
Access to homes and businesses in the area will be maintained as best as possible.
