A road repair project will impact traffic on a section of Browne Avenue for most of each day from Wednesday, July 19th through Thursday, July 27th.
As a result of the project, the section of Browne between Hall Avenue and Custer Avenue will be closed from July 19th through July 27th. Work on the project will take place from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm each day. Detour routes around the project area will be available and will be marked with appropriate signage. Flaggers will also be on site to help drivers navigate around the work area.
Drivers are reminded that the speed limit through all traffic-related works zones within the City of Yakima is 20 miles-per-hour.
During the project, traffic delays in the area are likely to occur. Drivers should use alternate routes until the project is completed.
Access to homes in the project area will be maintained as best as possible.
As always, the schedule for this type of a project is subject to change daily dependent on weather, equipment failure, and emergencies.
